The Macedonians are Eastern Orthodox. From all religions in the entire world
Macedonian parents would be allowed to give their child a Macedonian name in
any church, synagogue, mosque, or temple.
The only country in the world is Greece, where they are also Eastern
Orthodox, who do not permit Macedonian parents to baptize their children
with a Macedonian name. You have to give your child a Greek name otherwise
you cannot baptize your child in the Greek church. But in Greece there are
no Macedonian churches!
Greece the so called cradle of democracy is behind the times and yet is a
European Union member.
